Crochet with Julia Rasmussen

This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to make a small bag to put soap in. You will be doing chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet. Julia will be demonstrating all of these stitches. A soap saver bag is an eco- friendly way to prevent wasted soap. It also makes a thoughtful handmade gift that’s super quick to create. The workshop covers: how to hold the hook and yarn, how to make the preliminary chain, how to make a rectangle with double crochet stitches, how to stitch the bottom and sides together, how to make a cord to close the bag and how to fasten off and weave in the ends.
