About the event
Learn to set up and operate a standard home sewing machine with confidence! We will cover the essentials: selecting and inserting needles, winding and loading a bobbin, thread selection and threading, mastering basic stitches and sewing a perfect seam. If you are thinking of purchasing a machine, this class will also teach you which features are essential. After covering the basics, you'll put your new skills to work by sewing a custom crossbody phone bag - perfect for keeping your hands free while on the go! Minimum age for this workshop is 14.
