This workshop is designed for beginners, to introduce the tactile process of using fabric as a medium to create art.
Techniques demonstrated will be raw edge appliqué, fussy cutting and slow stitching by hand/ A sample template is provided: a scene of a sandy beach, the water and the sky. Finished size is 8” x 10”. No sewing machine or previous sewing experience is required. Basic stitching will be taught. Those who wish can follow up after the workshop by hand sewing or machine sewing, and it can be fused onto a canvas tote bag.
