Phyllis Plaut is an artist and sculptor who has traveled widely and taken advantage of Artist Training wherever she has lived:  at an atelier in Washington, D.C.; the Art Museums in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and the Liga de Arte in San Juan; the Workshops sponsored by EEAG  (a Member since its inception), and from local artists in Puerto Rico.

Phyllis began with oil painting and switched to pastels while sailing in the Caribbean.   During this period, while based in Venezuela she traveled to Spain, Portugal, Ecuador, Peru, and Brasil to satisfy her interests in anthropology.    After moving ashore in Puerto Rico she continued following these interests with travels to Egypt, Jordan and Turkey.  At that time she began watercolor painting and currently is also painting in oils.  She plans to paint  “FOREVER”.
