Suzanne Paquette
Suzanne has always felt the need to be creative but limited herself to useful things such as gardening, sewing, quilting, rug hooking, crocheting, knitting, smocking, tole painting, stencilling, and other crafts of a similar nature.
In Canada, she belongs to the Seniors Woodcarving Association where she carves and paints realistic birds. The Black-capped Chickadee is one of her favourites because he stays in her area year-round.
During the winter months, she is a snowbird finding a bit of paradise in Puerto Rico. A few years ago, she joined the EEAG and was inspired by its members. Her first painting was inspired by a Costa Rican painter and is her interpretation of a mischievous Coqui.
